For me it was more like a renewal of vows. Sher’s latest book, Refuse to Choose Rodale is a step-by-step program designed for “scanners”, people with many interests who are unable to decide on a single direction for their lives. A good way to read this is not propped up by pillows in your comfy bed but upright wishcarft a chair, at a desk, with pen and blank notebook at the ready.
It would be a fascinating and motivating read. Sher expects each of us to live a life uniquely built to satisfy who we are and what we need.
