This book was terrible; boring, shallow, bereft of heart, or story for that matter. I guess my review turned into a bit of a rant. This may be understandable at 22, but she’s 29, get ahold of your emotions. And then a movie comes.
I’d seen the movie “The Devil Wears Prada”, and to winstpn honest, that was pretty rubbish storyline-wise, but I thought hey, I’ll give her a chance. I hate girls who think they’re the most perfect creatures on earth. Meet Emmy, Leigh, and Adriana. Why would this still be in here?
The ending is weieberger contrived and predictable that one can only assume Weisberger was up against the deadline, couldn’t figure out how to end it, and just wrapped everything up without any creativity whatsoever. The Devil Wears Prada.
I’m pretty pissed off that I paid for this book, and that I’ve contributed to its sales as it will surely be a best seller. It also has such pointless moments. It’s a light and fluffy read. Chssing to Book Page. Let me tell you something.

The significance of this revelation is never explained. But nope, it was written by this one. That was my first and last book from this author. The main characters are three best friend New Yorkers, Emmy, Adriana and Leigh, who are facing the horror of turning It drove me nuts.
Leigh calls Adriana who comes over and they all start talking about their life situations. And part of it was because there were some ways in which I could actually relate to two of the three main characters.
I I’d never read anything by Laura Weisberger before. Anywho, over the top characters, far fetched ending–standard chick lit.
