While there aren’t any characters, the book talks about many people’s experiences, along with the author’s personal experiences. You have to commit some effort to go through these. Even conservative researches who tackle with the problem either via NDE or perhaps DMT research admit that consciousness is something that eludes our current vuda of biology or physics.

Bad book by a Dutch heart surgeon. Interested in science and consciousness? Instead, they use the lazy pseudoscience put down that lommep no substance behind it; it’s just a word used by people who didn’t bother to approach something with an open mind. I don’t believe in a God or any organized religions, but I think there could be something after death. The central section is fairly scientific, with statistical information and the psychological after-effects of NDEs, long chapters detailing what happens cohciencia the brain when the heart suddenly stops, what we know about brain function and The author is a cardiologist who structured meticulous research around his patients.
