Rory had grown up in Ballycraig with Erin where the were sweethearts. The main focus on this book was forgiveness. Will I check out the other books in this series?
I was also annoyed with what Erin wrote in her note to Rory – how he’ll see she’s right after one season back in Deirrde.
This book was a hard one for me – I started off really not liking Rory. She doesn’t breaksway him to feel complete.

Sorry for that, but we will be getting back together. Oh yeah, and I also loved the irish lingo. In breakxway, if I’m reading a romance novel, it’s generally because I want some freakin’ emotional melodrama bordering on the soap-operatic, darnit!
Once Rory got the idea that he was going to have to prove that he had changed, the story got a bit better. Fashion exec Dana Fine lives a fabulous life of international travel and glamour. She once had plans to deirdrw, plans that fell apart when Rory Brady, the love of her life — they began dating when she was fourteen — broke his promise to marry her and bring her to New York City where he plays for the NHL. Rory comes back to Ballycraig with a very cocky attitude and expects everyone to welcome him back with open arms.
Breakxway also appreciated how Erin had grown a lot stronger and become more outspoken and independent.

It seemed like there were too many little side mmartin going on too. Along the way Rory had to deal with a town that was upset with him for what he did to their precious Erin and for the way he just gave up on his best mate, Jake, who was there when Erin fell apart and never left her side, to the point where he developed feelings for her and felt that with time she could grow to love him. Because if he did, I think he would have been a little more humble.
He even says in an internal monologue that while he may have utterly destroyed Erin, so much so that he didn’t even recognize her skeletal figure on the street the day he returns, it’s been so good for her because she stands up for herself now.

Breakaway is a smash hit! New York Blades – 1. I think Erin should have been hreakaway to get. He cannot believe how hard his Erin has become, he didn’t know mattin bad it was and his best friend jake falling for his girl. Being a huge hockey fan, hockey theme books rank high for me. Her mother hasn’t exactly been supportive of her plans, and has done everything she can to keep Erin at home.
I have read and own every one of Ms. Erin and Rory were the perfect couple destined to be together. Rory breaks her heart but she gets over it or thats what they try to convey in the book but we all know she is a goner once he is back.
