Which is in no way an appealing way of storytelling. This book could have been edited by about pages. Return to Book Page. I’ve missed you more than you can imagine.
Definitivamente, mi autor favorito de thrillers. Hart’s War is probably his best known work which was made into a movie with Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.

This book reads like he researched the psychology of a stalker and created a story around that katzenbsch, instead of the other way around. Absolutely gripping in tension. While Ashley considers the whole event a meaningless “mistake”, Michael is convinced they are meant to be together forever, no matter what it takes.
Starts off like a roller coaster as it slowly makes its way to the top then plunges you into unrelenting suspense and angst. And things progress from bad to worse as the Freemans simply become a punching kayzenbach for every bad thing the author can think of to befall them – and to the author’s credit he thinks of a lot. Initially one empathizes with almost everyone involved on the wrong end of this “bargain with the devil” – Ashley’s mother being the exception who redefines the head in the sand metaphor.
Jan 31, Richard White rated it it was amazing Shelves: At half the length equivocafo book would be too long.

A college girl eequivocado too many drinks and sleeps with the wrong guy. Explore the Home Gift Guide.
The Wrong Man is all that – and thus is the wrong book. What Katzenbach did great here though is creating and sustaining the level of anxiety that katzennach draws the reader into the story as it spirals toward the equuvocado foretold tragedy. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! I have read most of this author’s books and have enjoyed them, although with each subsequent book the author has dealt more with the psychological aspect of his characters as opposed to the thriller part.
Just the sheer anxiety of making and following through with impossible decisions, because it’s the only thing that makes sense at the time. Reviews are all over the place on this joyn but put me with the plus column. A typical stalker’s obsession develops, Wow Its about coincidences and what happens when a truly smart but demented character manipulates those circumstances to their own advantage.
En fin, es una novela entretenida, logra el objetivo de estresarte y preguntarte que y como va la familia a resolver el problema y cual sera el siguiente paso de Michael.

As a writer myself, I can actually picture what katzenbah author did. So it is a good book in its own right, just isn’t either great or author’s greatest, but still plenty entertaining, albeit quite lengthy. Almost every character can feel “sweat hoombre [their] arms,” and the words “sorties,” and “detente,” get more use in one book than in any others I’ve read in a year.
If you are interested in equicocado psychological thrillers, this one is definitely your kind of treat. A typical stalker’s obsession develops, as he patiently and methodically sets out to destroy the lives of Ashley joh those who love her, with his own “love” albeit a decidedly possessive, rage-filled, obsessive kind of love of Ashley being the driving force behind everything he does.
No one thought of the fact that perhaps after they framed O’Connell he might get off on an insanity plea.
Would you like to hear a story? As you read this story about a coldblooded, patient and creepily calm man, Michael O’Connell, his everlasting -even growing by second- obsession over a young girl, Ashley Freeman and the things he would hombte for this girl to make her realise that they are supposedly made for each other, the plot will literally suck you in like a blackhole especially when you have no clue about how far this man can go with his blinding obsession, countless possibilities of him turning her and her family’s lives into a freaking nightmare while he considers his actions as loving someone to death Jun 22, Emily rated it it was ok.
Perhaps his next book… Hardcoverpages. This book is a perfect example of what appears, to this reader, to be a lack of serious editing – even if you buy the premise.
