Of course, some of my anxiety towards the book could be related to my overwhelming frustration with the class requiring I read it. It led to a kind of creative bankruptcy and an impossibly convoluted storyline that had to be eventually scrapped entirely, the comic starting over experrience if none of those stories had happened.
